Don't You Have a Mission To Get To?

Saix’s nose and lip curled slightly in disgust. Bad enough that he’d apparently been copied, but for the Replica to believe he was Isa was unforgivable.

“I suppose you wouldn’t know, would you.”

It was safe to say that the meeting could’ve gone a lot better. Not only was the other being incredibly hostile, Isa didn’t know what he was talking about. Well, snarling more than talking but it was essentially the same thing. Although he supposed that was to be expected; discovering the paradoxes and timelines for the first time could be quite stressful.

“Again, no idea what you’re talking about.”

“I don’t particularly see the point in explaining myself to a Replica.” What other explanation could there be? He knew Vexen had successfully copied Riku from only one encounter with him; how easy would it be for him to replicate a being he’d known for ten years? It was simply the most logical explanation; the idea that there might be multiple timelines or anything of the sort never even entered into Saix’s head.

“However, I also don’t appreciate being copied without my knowledge or consent.” He glared down at the boy coldly. “You can be sure I’ll be speaking to the Superior to see about having you destroyed as soon as possible.”
